How to Choose the Best University for You
You should choose a good university by assessing whether it will be a good fit for you, both academically and personally. Since you’ll be attending a university for at least four years, rankings are of course important, but whether you’ll truly feel happy and intellectually stimulated there is the most important thing. It can be helpful to compare academics, extracurriculars, social life, size, location, and housing across universities to see what you would most enjoy. You also should look at tuition costs, as well as financial aid to see if attending will be feasible for you. Asking current students or alumni is also a good way to get personal opinions about the best parts of the university. You can check out our in-depth university profiles (created by PA university students themselves!) to get a better idea of how different universities compare in areas such as these.
