PA Greece Training Officer

We are looking for a responsible, collaborative, and motivated person to be our new Training Officer.

As Training Officer, you will be working as part of the PA GRE and the broader outreach team.

This role is the backbone of our services. You will be responsible for creating and delivering courses for internal and external stakeholders. You will prepare materials and bring ideas on how to improve our services to match the needs and desires of our audience.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Create content for training courses

  • Assist in the production of booklets and leaflets that are going to be distributed to mentees

  • Support and deliver online and in-person courses for mentees, mentors, and other team members

  • Provide guidance and consulting to students for their educational development and upcoming steps

  • Communicate with prospective mentees and inform them about the services that are offered by the team

  • Investigate and understand the difficulties and obstacles that Greek students are facing 

  • Collaborate with other Country teams and International Teams for related topics and projects

  • Actively participate in team meetings and assist in the establishment and expansion of the Greek Team

  • Provide support in events and mentees according to the team’s needs

The position is an unpaid, volunteer role that will demand 1-3 effective hours of work per week, with flexibility during particularly busy times of year, such as exams, and according to working patterns.

Candidates who are not familiarised with Higher Education in Greece and Greek culture will receive relative training.
