Events Officer

Good news – we're looking for YOU to help run our Talent & Culture Team!   

As our Events Officer, you will be part of Project Access’ Talent & Culture Team. Our work at Project Access depends on the brilliant team of volunteers who work for us, and your role will be responsible for organizing events for our team members to spend time with each other, and to promote our organization. You will be working closely with Gabby (Global Director of Talent & Culture).

Responsibilities include:   

  • Planning and implementing Project Access’ yearly Summit. This event is attended by 150+ people in London each year

  • Planning and implementing social events for Project Access team members across the world

  • Assisting the Global Director of Talent & Culture in designing new social and recruitment events for Project Access

  • Collaborating with teams across Project Access and assisting with their onboarding & offboarding needss

The ideal applicant is...   

  • An excellent communicator- you will be working remotely with Project Access teams spanning multiple time zones and will be responsible for communicating with applicants

  • Organized- you will be required to handle multiple components of an event at one time and ensure that things run smoothly

  • Creative- we are always looking for ways to improve our events, and want to hear your ideas about this

  • Happy to speak with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds

The position is an unpaid, volunteer role that will require 3-4 hours of work per week, with flexibility during busy times of year (e.g. during exams).
