Our UK Undergraduate Program

The UCAS system is ideal for students seeking a focused, specialized degree typically completed in three years instead of four, offering depth early on compared to the broader US liberal arts approach. We support applications to top universities including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial, UCL, KCL, Warwick, Durham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol, and Leeds.

The US system embraces a flexible, four-year liberal arts model that encourages exploration across disciplines before specializing, giving students time to discover their passions. Many US colleges use the Common Application, which allows students to apply to over 900 institutions with a single form.
Mentors support applications to prestigious universities like
Harvard, MIT, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Brown, Stanford, Columbia, NYU, UPenn, UCLA, and UC Berkeley.

Across the EU, undergraduate education systems differ significantly. Many countries, such as the Netherlands and Germany, offer three-year specialized degrees focusing early on your chosen field of study. Notably, many European universities emphasize strong international connections and opportunities for student mobility through programs like Erasmus+, allowing you to study abroad and gain valuable global experience. Our mentors guide you through these diverse application processes, helping you apply successfully to leading institutions including Sciences Po, Bocconi, University of Amsterdam, Trinity College Dublin, ETH Zurich, Copenhagen Business School, and WHU in the DACH region.

Who is eligible for the Undergraduate Program?

If you’re motivated to apply to top universities in the UK, US, or EU and face challenges like limited guidance, financial barriers, or attending an under-resourced school, this program is for you.

We’ll pair you with a mentor about 16 months before your university start date, but you can apply anytime to get early access to our Resource Hub and support, there are no age limits.

After your application is accepted, we carefully match you with a mentor studying your intended subject at your dream university. The matching process can take up to 4 weeks.

Mentors offer personalized advice on course selection, personal statements, interviews, and application strategies. They guide you but don’t write your essays for you.

Absolutely! You can select universities from different regions after applying to our program. You’re not restricted to just one program or country, so you can explore all the options that fit your goals.

No, Project Access is a non-profit organization and completely free thanks to the generous support of our donors, volunteers, and mentors who donate their time.

Yes, deadlines vary by region:

In the UK, Oxbridge and Medicine applications are due by 15 October the year before you start university. Most other courses through UCAS have a deadline at the end of January.

In the US, most universities have their Regular Decision deadlines in early January, with some Early Action or Early Decision deadlines typically in November the year before you start university.

In the EU, application deadlines vary by country but usually fall between March and June of the year you plan to enroll.

Still a while before university? That's actually the perfect time to start.

Whether you’re in Year 10 or 11 (or just curious), our Preparation Program helps you explore your options, figure out what excites you, and start preparing at your own pace, without the pressure.
