What is Project Access Finland?

Project Access Finland is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to helping Finnish students turn their dreams of studying abroad into reality.

From intensive application bootcamps to our flagship study abroad conference, we provide the practical tools and supportive community needed to navigate the world’s most competitive admissions processes. Through webinars and school visits, we demystify the journey to ensure a world-class education feels attainable for every student in Finland, regardless of their background.

We bridge the gap between “dreaming” and “doing” by connecting students with those who have already paved the way – from Finnish students of elite institutions to admissions professionals from universities like Harvard and Cambridge. Whether through 1-on-1 guidance at a bootcamp or inspiring talks from guest speakers like Alexander Stubb (2021) and Nils Torvalds (2024), our mission is to empower the next generation of Finnish talent to find their place on the world stage.

We have also been on Huomenta Suomi. Check it out here.

Our events

Helping Finnish high school students to apply and get into their target universities through a variety of events

01

Bootcamps

These exclusive 1-2 day workshops are designed to deepen students’ understanding of studying abroad while equipping them with the skills and guidance needed to navigate the application processes. Featuring guest speakers, current students from top international universities and workshops by our partners, the event offers direct mentorship and insider insights to help students gain a place at their dream university.

02

Conferences

Project Access Finland is dedicated to ensuring that every student has access to valuable guidance, and this in-person experience provides that, given the limited spots in our bootcamps and the growing number of applicants each year. The event offers a condensed, high-impact experience—an afternoon filled with practical knowledge and the chance to connect with Finnish students from top international universities.

03

High school visits

Led by the Project Access Finland team or our High School Ambassadors and featuring a student from a top university abroad, these sessions offer a glimpse into what studying abroad as a Finn is really like. Designed to be both inspiring and interactive, they encourage students to ask questions based on their interests, ensuring they receive the most relevant and valuable insights.
