The following roles are open for a friendly, organised, and hard-working individual studying at one of these UK universities to join us and grow our community of mentors and team members at your University!

  • University of Cambridge (Cambridge Campus Officer)

  • University of Oxford (Oxford Campus Officer)

  • London School of Economics (LSE Campus Officer)

  • University of Warwick (Warwick Campus Officer)

  • University College London (UCL Campus Officer)

  • King’s College London (King’s Campus Officer)

You will be working closely with Carlotta – our UK Campus Director, and Taran – our Global Director of Mentorship Programs and Campus Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting new mentors at your University, by talking to students, student societies and/or university outreach staff.

  • Spreading awareness of and engagement with Project Access at your University - organising campus events, and reaching out to clubs and societies.

  • Updating and adding to our resources on academic and social life at your University.

  • Using our internal data dashboard to identify our current mentor distribution, and the subjects for which we most need mentors from your University. Prioritising mentor recruitment and other campus activities accordingly.

  • Supporting mentors at your University by being their first point of contact and owning the University-specific Slack channel used by the mentors and mentees on our UK Undergraduate Programme.

  • Assisting our UK Campus Director with the running of mentor training sessions for new UK mentors.

    The ideal applicant is...

  • Currently studying at Cambridge/Oxford/Imperial/LSE/KCL/UCL/Warwick.

  • Ideally graduating in 2025 or later.

  • A driven, pro-active, and sociable individual who enjoys working with people.

  • Comfortable building a community and being a Project Access spokesperson on campus.

The position is an unpaid, volunteer role that will require 3-5 hours of work per week, with flexibility during busy times of year (e.g. during exams).
