Emil Bender Lassen
As CEO, Emil is working directly with the Heads of Countries in Project Access as well as the core team of Directors, to shape and scale our movement. He’s been part of Project Access since it was launched in 2016, and stepped up to lead the international work in October 2017.
Emil is currently in his 3rd year at King’s College London, where he’s pursuing a BSc degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He spent his 4th semester as a Visiting Undergraduate Student at NUS and Yale-NUS in Singapore.
Emil has experience from strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company (Copenhagen/Seattle/Hague), Fintech VC at Nova Founders Capital (London), impact investing at Penstable (Copenhagen) and blockchain implementation at BlockTech (New York).
He’s recognised as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and an UNLEASH Global SDG Talent.
He is serving on the Sounding Board to the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affair’s Taskforce on collaboration between Denmark and Danes living abroad, the Board of Directors of the Nordic Study Abroad Community, and is the former Chairman of the Board of Danish Students Abroad.
