Did You Know Project Access Offers These Three Programs?

We believe in a world where passion and potential — not a socio-economic background, ethnicity or any other cause of disadvantage — define a young person’s future. Here’s how we make it happen.

ATTN: High school students

Are you in your third year of high school? Unsure of which university you want to attend? Don’t know what to study, or how to make your application stand out? All of the above? Apply to be a part of our Prep Program!

The Prep Program is a global collaboration between specialist mentors who provide support to prospective university students, and host events and workshops to improve their skill set.

To sign up as a specialist mentor, contact your university’s Campus Team (more information can be found here). Mentees can join through the regular undergraduate mentorship application. Make sure to specify the year you plan on applying to university!

Applying to an undergraduate program this academic year?

Perhaps our most well-known program, Project Access offers undergraduate application resources for students from unconventional backgrounds.

In this one-to-one program, our mentors aid prospective university students with structuring their personal statements and provide firsthand knowledge of the application process; we provide Access Academy webinars (see our latest one below!), community networking opportunities, and personalized support, with the aim of guiding students from less privileged backgrounds toward pursuing higher education.

If you are interested in joining our organization, please apply to be a mentor on our website, or email Ria, our Product Director, at ria.bhargava@projectaccess.org.

To join this program as a mentee, apply via our website, under the 'For Applicants' tab. As you fill out the application form, make sure the information you are providing us with is as accurate as possible, to ensure we are able to successfully admit you to our program and pair you with a mentor from your home country who is currently pursuing a similar degree at your target university.

Don’t forget to specify the year you plan on beginning your degree, and which region the university of your choice is located in. Project Access currently supports applications to the United States, United Kingdom, and certain universities in the European Union.

Plan on pursuing a master’s degree? Our Grad Program is for you!

The beauty of higher education is in its diversity. Our graduate program is designed specifically for students from nontraditional backgrounds. We welcome students of all ages, at different stages of their lives, and from diverse backgrounds to apply!

Graduate mentors are students from our target universities, who make a significant difference in the lives of mentees by providing them with the resources for success. We help address doubts and concerns, provide practical financial and accommodation-related advice, and foster global relationships.

We encourage anyone who is interested in becoming a mentor to send in an application here!

The graduate program at Project Access is not specific to any country. Rather, a global community of specialist mentors and program officers provide support to our wonderful mentees. To find out more, visit the Project Access Graduate Program page!
